Chest tomb. Late C18 or early C19. Ashlar, moulded plinth and moulded,
hipped capping. Two oval inscription panels in rectangular surround with
decorative detail to spandrels and bead and reel ornament defining ovals,
flanked by fluted corner balusters with gadrooned bases. Commemorates
Thomas and Elizabeth Smith, died 1783 and later early C19 dedications.
