SO 51 NW LLANGARRON CP LLANGROVE

5/127 Cow shed at The Grove

GV II


Cow shed. Late C18 or early C19. Sandstone rubble with corrugated metal
and pantiled roof. Rectangular plan aligned east/west and adjoining timber-
framed barn (qv) to east. Two storeys, irregular openings: four on first
floor and five on ground floor with segmental heads, entrance now second
opening from left, steps to granary at west gable, two first floor windows
retain wooden slats and main elevation retains picturesque smeared render.
Inclined strut trusses, south wall partly timber-framed to upper level at
eastern end.
