House. C17 core, remodelled C18, dated "I K E 1707", mid-C19 alterations.
Part timber-framed with brick infill, refaced with coursed and squared
sandstone rubble, slate roof, brick shafts to sandstone stacks, single depth
plan aligned north/south with central projection to west, present entrance
to west, gable end stacks and rear lateral stack. Two storeys and attic.
Raised verges. West front, 2:1:1 windows with flat arches and glazing bar
sashes, central one in forward gabled projection with semi-circular-headed
window with decorative glazing bar design in gable; porch in left angle
formed by forward projection has cornice and half-glazed door. Later C19
single-storey C19 service additions to south. Date inscribed in kneeler
of verge to south gable. Interior not inspected.
