House in row; C16 early Cl9. Timber-framed cross wing, to left
stone, rendered: tiled roof. 'T'-plan, possibly originally with
cross passage: stem parallel to road: 2 storey. Entrance on
right of stem; first floor three cambered-head, 2-light timber
windows, iron casements; ground floor two similar with further
door left-hand end. To right cross wing: gable close-studding
both floors, low bressumer, no centre rails. Some studs missing
ground floor, 3-light casement window on left. First floor
originally a large window, slightly off-centre, now partly infilled
with 2-light casement. Close studding continuous on right side up
to large stone chimney breast: beyond large, square panelling
first floor. Rear wall of stem timber-framed. Attached house on
left, marked by change in roof line, not of special interest.
