House, now public house. Early C18 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations.
Brick with tile roof. Two storeys, band to first floor, stone coped parapet,
brick coped verge; six windows: 2-light C20 casements under rubbed brick
heads; ground floor: three windows to right; two 16-pane sashes flanking a
12-pane sash; to left a 3-pane shop window under same cornice as entrance
(to right of window) which is approached by two steps and has a 2-pane over-
light and six flush panelled door; main entrance to left of centre is
approached by two steps, and has a heavily moulded wooden architrave, a 2-
pane overlight, and a C20 ledged and boarded door. Included for group value.
