Early-mid C18. Brown brick, red brick dressings, rubbed brick
window lintels and modillioned cornice. Parapet. 3 storeys. 5
segmental-headed, flush sash windows with original thick glazing
bars. Very good central Doric doorcase in painted stone:
chamfered block arched surround with imposts, semicircular fan
with arched panels, fluted keyblock, bossed pilasters, full
entablature. 6-fielded-panel door. Interior has original
architraves and cornices, and late C18 semicircular staircase on
right hand side of hall with Adam style detail. Rear elevation
with slightly simplified version of front doorcase, the doorway
blocked. Flush flat-headed sash windows. C19 yellow stock brick
extension on E. (Pevsner (1977)).
