Probably late C17. Circa 1840 facade in Tudor Gothic style.
Plaster, roughcast, Westmoreland slate roof. 3-storeyed, 5-
window main block and projecting 1-storey wing on W (similar wing
on E is part of Cheshunt Cottages). Gabled porch and 4-centred
arch door flanked by modern flat roof extension. Main block has
3 gables with cusped barge boards; 1st and 2nd floor sash windows
with moulded sills and Tudor grip moulds; late C17 modillioned
cornice board over 1st floor; centre and end chimney stacks with
patterned-terracotta pots. Double-roof E extension has cusped
bargeboards.
