House, now shop. Early C17, clad late C18, raised mid-C20. Timber-frame
clad in brick with flat roof. Three storeys, stone coped parapet; 3 + 2
windows: glazing bar sashes with plastered wedge lintels and stone sills
(portion to right set back by about two metres); second floor: windows
similar with concrete lintels; ground floor: entrance to left hand corner
to passage has a C17 boarded door with wrought iron spikes to the top and
strap hinges; shop front: pilastered with scroll brackets to dentilled
cornice, central entrance to shop has an overlight and a 2-leaf half-
glazed door flanked by plate glass windows; to right recessed portion has
a plate glass window under stone wedge lintel. Interior: exposed beams
of C17 building, including console bracket to jetty visible in passage-
way. There is some reset small square panelling with frieze on the first
floor.
