House. C17 possibly earlier, altered and extended in C19 and early C20.
Probable timber frame to core, cased and extended in red brick, part
roughcast and tilehung. Tiled roof. Originally 3 or 4 bays. 2 storeys.
C20 2 storey gabled entrance porch on left bay of original house. Ground
floor 2 and 3 light casements, first floor 5 light casements, leaded
panes. Roughcast right return has external stack with offsets, rebuilt
in stock brick. Ridge stack at original left end, probably external
originally, cap rebuilt. 2 storey and attic C20 addition to left with
gable front. C20 wing to rear. Multi gabled garden elevation is entirely
early C20 in appearance. Brick and weatherboarded outbuilding attached
to left, now stables. Interior: ground floor panelled dining room with
stop chamfered binding beam, first floor not inspected.
