Walled gardens and adjoining house at Potterells

2 C18 walled gardens on SE side of Potterells. Red brick. 3-4
metres high walling. Rectangular garden on S has wrought iron
gate in centre of S wall with thin scrolled asymmetrical
patterning, the overthrow with RA initials. Wall opposite has
taller gate with similar iron work incorporating foliage motifs.
On N side of N garden is former stable block, now house. Modern
brick and tiles, but roof with large clock and bell tower dated
1767: weatherboarded base with fluted angle pilaster, octagonal
open turret with copper dome and wrought iron weathervane. Clock
on N face.
