Outbuildings. C18. Range of picturesque, timberframed
weatherboarded outbuildings along N side of yard. Steep pantiled
gabled roofs. One and a half storeys, 2-bay, cow house with loft
above is roughly in centre with single storey pantiled lean-to
against W gable and lower single storey pitched roof stable
extending to E. These buildings were described as 'a capital
Yard with stable, Cow-house and loft, etc' in 1849 in the sale
particulars of the Gilston Park Estate (HRO). Part of
picturesque group with public house on corner.
