House, now 2 houses. Cl7. W bay early C19, SW rear wing and E
crosswing c1980. Timber frame, W bay in roughcast brickwork. E
half of house (Little Orchard) white weatherboarded: W half
(Haldens Cottage) roughcast. Red tile steep roofs. A 2-storeys,
3-cell, central chimney plan house facing N, with added bay at W,
2-storeys projecting gabled crosswing at E, and one and a half
storeys rear wing at W end. Divided at central chimney in
middle. Open gabled porch to E part with 2-light flush casement
windows and 2-light shallower oriel window on right of door. W
part with symmetrical 3 window front and lean-to enclosed porch.
2-light casement windows (renewed).
