Stable block. Late C17 N part, early C18 S part (plaque reset in N gable
'A.T. August/YO 26.1729'), and S crosswing C19. N part red brick in
English-bond, S part red brick with blue headers in Flemish-bond, red
brick crosswing. Steep old red tile roofs. A long L-shaped range to SW
of house, partly parallel with S kitchen wing, and facing into yard on
E. 1½-storeys with loft over much of range. Gable parapet incorporating
chimney at N end. 2-, and 3-lights small windows, boarded stable door,
6-panels fielded door re-used in rear (W) wall. Clasped-purlin roofs
with single purlin to each slope. Heavy cross-beam and square joists to
loft floor.
