Coach house block. Early C19 (on Tithe Map of 1842 (HRO)). 2
storeys, 5 windows, white weatherboarded coach-house range facing
S with its gable to the lane. Grey brick on Ground floor next to
the lane and 1 window over. Projected bargeboard with pendant
and collar. Steep slated roof with decorative ridge and a vane
set on a timber louvre set diagonally with a pyramid fishscale
slate roof. A small gable over the. window over the off-centre
door. Modern glass roof sheltering coach-house doors on left.
An interesting picturesque coach-house range in a prominent
position when viewed from the Stort Navigation and part of a
group with Mead Lodge.
