C16 or earlier timber frame. Modern rendered, old red tile roof. Two storeys.
Modern door and windows with modern cross wing on south. Interior has several bays of
heavy oak timber frame. C17 barn on north. Weatherboarded with corrugated iron roof;
important feature on junction of Thorley Lane and Great Hadham Road.
