House. C17 or earlier. Brick roughcast, presumably over timber frame,
with very steep old red tile roof. Red brick and tile gabled porch. An
L-plan 2-storeys house facing S. Regular, 3-windows wide front with
porch in middle. Recessed 2-lights casement windows with small panes,
wider to ground floor under segmental arches. 6-panels moulded door.
Large internal chimney a third from W end with 2 very large diagonally
set square shafts across the ridge with brick spurs to base and
corbelled caps. Small internal chimney at E gable in front slope of
roof. Lean-to extensions to E end and W side of short rear wing. A
3-cells, internal-chimney, lobby entry plan house.
