GV II

House, now 2 houses. C17, partial brick casing C18, altered and divided
in C19. Timber frame roughcast, panelled pargetting to 1st floor at
front and red brick in Flemish-bond to ground floor of W half (Avenue
Cottage) and to E gable end (returned a little along the front). Red
tile steep roof. A 2-storeys, 3-cells plan building set back from road,
facing N. Very large rearwall projecting chimney with crow-step
decoration to middle bay, later projecting E gable chimney. N front has
3 windows to 1st floor and 2 to ground floor. Flush box sash windows
with 3/3 panes. 2 doors in middle: LH 4-panels, half-glazed with flat
hood on shaped brackets: RH a plank door.
