House. Early C17 origins, remodelled mid C19. Brick, roughcast and
rendered. Shallow pitched slate roof. 3 broad bays. 2 storeys. Entrance
between right and centre bays in C19 gabled porch with chamfered 4
centred outer arch. Ground floor: to right a 6 light transomed casement,
recessed with chamfered jambs, to left a similar 8 light casement,
further left 4 light vertical and 4 light horizontal casements, the
latter with ovolo moulded mullions. Continuous moulded plat band. First
floor: three 6 light transomed casements, recessed. Between left and
central bays a repositioned datestone 'EWM 1632' and Sun Fire Insurance
Marker. Left end: stock brick external stack. First floor horizontal
sliding sash. Right end: ground floor French windows, first floor 6
light casement. To rear: to centre and external to main block is a large
stack, rendered, probably C17. To left catslide from main roof over
lean-to projection. Lower large lean-to projections to right with
dormers. Interior: many re-used stop chamfered binding beams, used
axially and cross axially, moulded doorcases to early plank doors.
