9/295 Windridge Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17 block, altered and extended in T-plan early-
mid C19 and C20. Timber frame early part. Stuccoed brick walls.
Plain tile hipped roof 2 storeys. The E block has a large late-
C17 external chimney stack on the N wall, the upper part red
brick with an ovolo cornice. The S side of this range has 2
recessed 8/8 sash windows, segmental-headed on ground floor.
Doorcase on left with half-glazed reeded-panel door, panelled
reveals, reeded pilasters, shaped brackets, flat hood and scroll-
patterned fan. End elevation with triple-hung sash. Wide
bracketed eaves. W block has mostly C20 casements. C20 stacks.
