9/253 Westwick Hall

GV II

Farmhouse. Mid-late C17 timber frame, recased in red brick 1794
(dated brick); extended at rear 1814 (dated brick). 1930s plain
tile hipped roof. 2 storeys over cellar. 5 C20 glazing bar
casements. Front elevation has a central projection with broad
ground floor window in relieving arch. Added porch on right with
early C19 door: 4 panels, shaped brackets. Interior of
projection has ovolo-moulded beams. Main range is 5 bays of one
build with chamfer-stopped beams. On rear ground floor is a C17
3-light mullioned casement with original square leading and
spring catch.
