C16 timber framed house. 2 storeys, 2 windows. Plastered, with traces
of pargetting on ground floor. High pitched, tiled roof with visible
rafter ends. Overhanging 1st floor supported on old arches braces.
Brick plinth. later windows, 2-light casements on 1st floor in slightly
projecting box frames; sash windows with glazing bars on ground floor in
flush, box frames. 5 steps to 2 plain doors, that on the right (No 166)
under Tudor arch with decorated spandrels.
Nos 142 to 174 (even) form a group.
