Stable and barn. Early C17, brick front to stable early C18. Timber
frames on flint sill walls with tiles pinning up timber sill. Exposed
frame at rear of stable infilled with red brick, gable triangle of dark
weatherboarding. Barn has red brick infill to frame in parts but clad in
dark weatherboarding. Steep pitched roofs now of corrugated iron. A low
2-bays stable next the house and a tall 3-bays barn adjoining on E both
facing S. Clasped-purlin roofs. Barn has jowled posts, straight braces
to tie-beam, clasped purlins on collar and angled queen-struts, straight
wind-braces. Squint-butted scarf joint in rear wallplate.
