House. C17 east wing jettied to north, lower hall range facing south rebuilt or
refaced in brick in early C18 when crosswing brick cased. C20 rear extension and
alterations. Timber frame crosswing, cased in painted red brick, similar painted
brick to hall range. Steep old red tile roofs. A T-plan house facing south with
low hall range 1½-storeys at rear but raised to 2-storeys at front, and a 2-storeys
and attics east crosswing. Large internal chimney a third from east end of hall
rang and a smaller chimney a third from west end. 3 3-lights casement windows
and door near middle. 2 flat topped dormers to rear. Crosswing has platband,
heavy purlin-ends showing in south gable with segmental head to 3-light casement
on 1st floor and similar head to 2-light attic window.
