Lodge to Kirk Ella Hall, now a house. 1838, with later extension to left.
Brick, pebbledashed and colour-washed, stone dressings, slate roof.
Jacobean style. Single storey and attic, 2 cells with gabled cross wing to
right; single-bay lean-to extension to left. 4-centred pointed arch with
foliage to spandrels under stepped hoodmould incorporating a shield with the
inscription:

in Gothic lettering in projecting porch. Two 3-panelled Gothick doors
within. To right, a 2-light cross-mullion window. Cross wing has a small
canted bay window. To the gable is an oblong window. All windows have
latticed glazing bars. 2-light casement with glazing bars to extension.
Oversailing eaves with barge boards, end and axial stacks.
