Older part of house is square 2 storey, red brick block with date 1757 on rain
water heads. Principal front is 3 window with 9-light sashes, glazing bars removed.
Doorway has Corinthian pilasters with scrolled pediment and cartouche above. Interior
largely altered, retains fine staircase with heavy turned balusters and carved
vases and flowers to newel caps. Both this and plaster ceiling to one room appear
earlier in style than 1757. Hipped slate roof. Alterations and extensions in
1972.
