Pair of cottages forming part of a row. Mid C19, possibly incorporating some
earlier work. Brick in Flemish bond, gabled-end slate roof with ridge tiles; a
rear wing to No.2 of cob, partially roughcast, on stone footings, gabled-end
pantiled roof. Double depth plan. 2 axial stacks, and a rear stack to No.2. 2
storeys.
Front: No.1 with a 3 window range, originally symmetrical; 12-pane hornless sash
windows to 1st floor and a blocked window between; half-glazed central door with
sash window to the left, and a 2:6:2 pane canted bay to the right. No.2
symmetrical 2 window range; 12-pane hornless sashes to all windows; central door
with fielded and plain panels. Interior not inspected.
