C18 and mid C19 building with return face "Church Gate" forming part of
range on to churchyard. (The old Sexton's Cottage adjoining west is
listed as a separate item with outbuildings further west in same range).
High Street front is 3 storey 4 windows; upper storeys oversail slightly
and are probably timber-framed. Modern roughcast. Georgian flush-frame
sash windows with glazing bars removed. Long shop front with altered
glazing bars, has dentil cornice. Scroll signboard above. The portion
west "Church Gate" with front to churchyard, mid C19. 2 storey 3 windows
stucco, colourwashed, wood coupled bracket eaves cornice. Sash windows,
one splayed bay. Round-headed doorway with steeply pitched pedimented
hood on enriched consoles.
