House, divided into 4 cottages, now combined. C17, altered in C19 and C20.
Timber framed, plastered, slate roof. 5 bays facing W with 2 axial stacks. 2
storeys. 4-window range of C20 casements, C20 door with fixed lights each side,
plain boarded door. Chamfered axial beams with lamb's tongue stops. 4 large
wood-burning hearths, chamfered mantel beams with lamb's tongue stops. Jowled
posts. Original floorboards in left bay. The walls have been raised approx.
1.5 metres. Formerly used as almshouses. Listed for Group Value.
