5/93 Stable approximately 20 metres to
- south of Witherhill Farmhouse

GV II

Stable. Probably C18, altered in the late C19. Cob on high stone rubble plinth,
partly rebuilt in uncoursed stone rubble with some red-brick dressings. Gable-ended
late C19 clay tile roof. Lean-to roof over small adjoining cartshed.
Plan: Aligned approximately north-west/south-east, facing farmyard to south-west.
Stable with loft above. Lean-to cartshed to left-hand end.
Exterior: Plank loft door off-centre to right and pair of ground-floor late C19
casements with segmental heads flanking plank door with wooden lintel.
Interior not inspected.
This building forms part of a farmstead group also including Witherhill Farmhouse
(q.v.).
