2/146 Bradshaw memorial about 50m south
- west of the tower of St Mary

GV II


Small canopy tomb 1893. Stone, commemorating Mary Bradshaw, died 1893. A Gothic
canopy gabled to the sides and with shorter gables at ends is supported on hexagonal
corner shafts with moulded plinths and capitals, the shafts terminating in tall
crocketted corner pinnacles, 1 pinnacle missing. Beneath the canopy is a foliated
cross carved in relief. More of a cemetery than a churchyard design.
