House. Mid-late C18, front of early C19, with later alterations. Rubble, rendered
and colourwashed, slate roof with ridge coping and brick gable stacks, one rendered.
2-room plan with narrow central passage containing straight stair to rear, each room
heated by gable end stacks, the right-hand room the kitchen. Wing to rear of right-
hand end was formerly the stables, with loft over, left heated and used as living
accommodation probably from late C19. Single-storey outhouse attached to front left.
2 storeys and 3 windows, all 16-pane sashes in exposed boxes, 2 similar sashes at
ground floor with relieving arches, central 6-panelled door with triangular hood.
Single storey rubble outhouse attached to front left with door and 2-pane light.
Left return has external stack. Right return has external stack with semi-circular
oven projection to right and C20 single light; lower 2-storey rear wing, formerly
used as stable at ground floor with living accommodation over, has 2 windows, at
first floor 2-light casements of 8 panes each light, ground floor has 4-panelled
plain door and C20 2-light casement, door with strap hinges, formerly in wider stable
entry, ridge stack. Range of 3 small single-storey outhouses attached to right with
corrugated iron and slate roofs, varied openings.
Interior slate floor throughout at ground floor, room to right has blocked
fireplace, oven not visible.
