Dated 1837. Built by the Bedford Estate as the Grammar School. Two storeys stone
ashlar with rustic face. Two gables and gabled half-dormer facing Russell Street.
One gable and half-dormer to Plymouth Road. Slate roof with chimneys set diagonally.
Two-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulding. Gabled doorway. The letter
'B' and Bedford crest in gables and above doorway.
