Barn. C16, enlarged in mid C17. Plastered cob on stone rubble footings;
corrugated iron roof, formerly thatch.
Plan and exterior description: threshing barn on an east-west axis. Large opposing
doorways to threshing floor north of centre. Both doorways contain late C19-early
C20 plank doors. Roof is hipped to south and gable-ended to north.
Interior is open from the ground to the roof. The northernmost truss is C16; a
face-pegged jointed cruck. The other 4 trusses are mid C17 A-frame trusses in which
the pegged lap-jointed collars have dovetail-shaped halvings.
