TL 6730 GREAT BARDFIELD HIGH STREET
(south-east side)

GV II

House. C15, altered in C18/C19 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with
handmade red clay tiles. Main range facing NW, with one axial stack, 2-bay
crosswing at left end, and C20 garage beyond. 2 storeys. 2 splayed bays of
early C20 sashes, one of which is under the jetty of the crosswing, which has
one plain bracket exposed. On first floor, one C20 sash, one late C18/early C19
sash of 16 lights with crown glass. 6-panel flush door with shallow hood on
scrolled brackets, garage doors, and one C20 door. Original sprockets on left
return of crosswing. RCHM 20.
