G.V. II

Barns and byres. Late C18 incorporating some mid C18 work. Whitewashed rubble
with flush red sandstone quoins, under graduated greenslate roof. 2 storeys
with long axis and short side wings, forming overall cross shape. Front has
plank doors and segmental cart doorway in red sandstone surrounds. Casement
windows and vents in stone surrounds. Side wall has further plank doors and
blocked 2-light flat stone mullioned windows, similar to those in the rear of
the farmhouse. Listed for G.V. with Low Garth and Crag View.
