House, formerly 2 cottages. Late C18 - early C19, renovated 1965. Rendered cob on
rubble footings; cob stacks with brick tops; wheatreed thatched roof. Original
pair of cottages had mirror plans about framed central crosswall. Each 2 storeys
with 2 room plans and central doors into larger outer room. Projecting cob stacks
each end. Roof hipped both ends. Overall 4 window front of 1965 replacement
timber casements, 6 panels per light. 2 doors with 1965 monopitch tiles roofs.
Right door moved to left of original position. Interior has fireplaces with side
ovens and some original joinery. Roof not inspected.
