Farmhouse. C15 or C16. Random rubble, hipped asbestos slated roof, 2 brick ridge
stacks.
Plan and development: 3 room and through-passage plan, evidence of a former open
hall.
Exterior: entrance front of 2 storeys, 2:2 windows, 4 C20 2-light casements, also a
2- and a 3-light C19 casement. Section to right set back slightly, a C19 dairy. 2
door openings, one to the left, the other to the right, one in a lean-to. Rear
elevation with a narrow window opening with a 2-light casement and a 4-light C16 or
C17 chamfered wooden mullioned window, also a C20 dormer.
Interior: with features of interest including chamfered fireplace bressumers and
ceiling beams. Evidence of a smoke-blackened roof.
