Barn. Circa C16. Slate rubble with bands of granite and granite dressings. Steeply
pitched asbestos slate roof with gabled ends, one end bitumenised. Moulded granite
plinth. Granite ventilation slits with internal splays. Floor inserted and with
segmental arched loft doorways. Later accretions on south side including horse
engine house.
Interior: ventilation slits are internally splayed and have four-centre arch
reararches. Twelve bays with collar-braced roof trusses with angled principals, (the
principals are angled at their bases above the wall plate).
