Detached cottage and forge. Early C19. Brick, Welsh slate roof. Two
storeys, 4-windowed, two or three light casements, one blank bay, bottom,
right. Door off-centre, left. Interior gutted. Perhaps originally two
cottages; at right end lean-to, formerly blacksmith's workshop. Forms group,
at complex road junction, with The Yew Trees. (qv Woodend Lane.)
