SX 85 NE STOKE GABRIEL WADDETON

Cottage with adjoining barn. Circa mid-late C17. Stone rubble, partly rendered.
Thatched roof with gabled ends. One storey and attic. Only two windows to road,
one a C19 casement with glazing bars, the other C20 plate glass in small opening to
barn. Rendered chimney stack at gable end. Semi-newel staircase at rear. Short
half-hipped thatched roof rear wing. Interior: ovolo-moulded ceiling beam with
carved stops. Barn adjoining to north under the same thatched roof, probably
contemporary with cottage.
