Garden walls incorporating earlier ruins. C18 and earlier. The walls at the east end
adjoining the house and enclosing a courtyard (which now contains a swimming pool)
are C18, in red brick, Flemish bond, and with stone coping, the corner piers have
moulded granite ogee caps with ball finials. The back of the wall facing the yard is
of slate rubble.
At the west end the wall is of slate rubble and incorporates the ruins of the circa
C16 house or outbuildings. There is a large granite round-arched doorway with
continuous roll moulding and a late C16 chimneypiece with baluster pilasters and with
ornate Doric entablature.
