SK 19 69 PARISH OF ASHFORD IN THE WATER DUKE'S DRIVE 11/29 (South Side) Ardrock Cottage II

Cottage. C17, 1754 and C19. Coursed limestone rubble. Gritstone dressings and quoins to west. Brick gable end stack to east. Stone ridge stack. C20 concrete tile roof with stone ridge. Flush quoined doorcase to east with lintel inscribed 'MTT 1754' and flat hood over. To west, two 2-light flush mullion windows with C18 casements. Beyond, inserted plank door and C19 addition with door and window. Above, from east, 2-light flush mullion window and 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion window. Interior has plank doors and one stone fireplace with moulded hood.
