Bridge spanning the River Dove. Mid-C18 widened and heightened probably in the mid-C19. Rubble limestone and ashlar. One broad segmental arch and two small semi-circular arches with flight of steps. Ashlar to the main part of the bridge and to the parapet walls, squared and coursed rubble causeways with ashlar parapet. Stone copings to parapet walls. Heavily buttressed and with iron ties. In 1726 the Staffordshire Sessions appointed a commission to consider building a stone bridge in place of existing wooden one.

The asset was previously listed thrice also at List entries 1191414 and 1231027. These entries were removed from the List on 2nd February 2016.
