Bent Farmhouse and attached
Barn

GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17 with later alterations. Coursed rubble limestone with
gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof with stone coped gables. Brick ridge stack
and gable end stack. Long house type. Two storeys. South elevation left to
right. 2-light recessed mullion window with cavetto moulding. A similar 2-light
window above and a similar but smaller one above again. Doorway to the right
with lintel and quoins and flat, heavily bracketed, hood. C20 glazed door. To
the right, a 3-light flush mullion window with half chamfer. Similar 4-light
window above. All windows with wooden casements. C20 conservatory to the right.
Barn attached to the right, early C19. Three C19 doorways with lintels and
quoins, a circular window and a larger doorway to the ground floor. Three square
openings above with lintels and quoins.
