Halter Devil Chapel Farmhouse

Farmhouse probably late C17, substantially rebuilt in late C19. Coursed squared
gritstone and red brick. Plain tile roof with rendered gable stacks. Two storeys.
Symmetrical double fronted east elevation of two bays, Central doorway with
basket arch and C20 glazed door flanked on each side by windows with basket arches
and C20 top hung casements. Two similar windows above. Of the house associated
with the building of the Halter Devil Chapel the gritstone side party wall and
rear wall survive. Listed for group value only.
