GV Upper Hurst Farmhouse
II

Former farmhouse, now a house. Mid C18 with C20 extensions. Coursed rubble gritstone
with quoins, plain gables and concrete tiles. Two storeys, five bays, with advanced
gabled bay at north east end, and south east end bay being C20 additions. Central
three bays with flush mullioned windows of 2 and 3-lights, all with C20 casements
with glazing bars. Central doorway with quoining to south east side, and linked with
2-light mullioned window to the north east, both openings with a lintel of common
depth. C20 planked door. C17 single light openings with chamfered surrounds to rear
elevation. Listed for group value only.
