C18. A small terrace of 3 houses. Painted brick with brick string course at
1st floor sill height and brick eaves cornice. Roof originally of stone slates,
now mostly replaced with tiles. 2 storeys. 2 windows each and centre, 1st floor,
blank to Nos 14 and 15. Mostly sashes with glazing bars but 1st floor windows
of No 15 now replaced with C19 style casements and reproduction bows on ground
floor. Centre doorways with wide flat canopies supported on brackets. 6 panelled
doors. No 16 has a modern shop window and is not now a public house but name
preserved on hanging sign. C19 street lamp fixed to wall.
Nos 14 to 16 (consec) with the associated Vicarage garden wall form a group
with Nos 10 to 13 (consec), the railings, gates and walls of the latter, the
Priory Church, the gates to the churchyard, the churchyard sundial, its boundary
walls and those to the Garden of Rememberance.
