Anglesey Cottages [Nos 1 to 10(consec)]

Cottages. Dated 1863 but probably c1840. Rendered stone with ashlar dressings
and stone string course. Hipped slate roofs. End stone stacks. Coursed rubble
find ranges. Row of 10 semi-detached cottages each of 2 storeys and 5 bays in
the 'Tudor' style. Each cottage has stone mullioned 'perpendicular', flat-headed
windows with square labels and inwardly opening metal casements throughout.
Bays 2 and 4 have square stone door surrounds with 4-centred arches. Numbers
1, 2, 3, 9 and 10 have original doors blocked. Numbers 3, 8, 7 and 6 have later
windows inserted into end ranges. Number 7 probably has original door. Numbers
2, 3 and 4 have stone flags set into pavement adjoining front doors.
