Building with C18 front. 2 storeys. Dentil and moulded cornice to parapet which
has series of urns similar to those adorning Eleanor Coade's house, Belmont (see
Pound Street, South Side). Slate roof. Stuccoed front. 1 window bay to Mad
Hatter's Restaurant. Splayed 3-light bay window (sashes) on 1st floor; shop
front on ground floor; half-glazed shop door with margin lights. In left hand
return, various door and window openings including 6-panelled door in frame surmounted
by cornice on brackets, also, an external stack, probably incorporating a bread
oven.
No 35 has from left to right hand on 1st floor, 2 sash windows without glazing
bars and, at right hand end, a 3-light splayed bay. On ground floor from left
to right hand end, sash window (no glazing bars) with railings before it; railings
have uprights with spear-shaped finials, rising alternately to 2 different heights,
and circular standards with urn finials. To right hand, doorway with pilasters
and entablature and 6-panelled door (4 fielded panels and top 2 panels glazed).
To right hand again, premises of Charles Greenham has modern shop front on ground
floor.

Nos 34 to 36 (consec) Broad Street, together with the Baptist church and The
Langmoor,Silver Street, form a group with Nos 1 & 2 Pound Street.
