Important late C15 half-timbered house with carved detail. Restored,
2 gables to the front, 'screens' passage at north end. The upper storey
projects on the front with a moulded bressumer, curved brackets, springing
from shafts with demi-angel capitals. The timber-framing is exposed on
the front and the 2 upper windows are of 8 and 6 lights with traceried
heads. The entrance doorway and east passageway have 4-centred heads and
there are other original doorways in the 'screens' passage. The roofs
are tiled.
